Personalized Greeting — Free Starter Pack

Your agent wakes up blank every session. "How can I help you today?" — every time, like it's meeting you for the first time. This fixes it. One rule. 30 seconds. Free.

Pick Your Greeting

Vibe Greeting
Buds "What's up [nickname]. What are we doing?"
Crew "Hey big homie. Where we at?"
Reliable "I'm back up. Ready when you are."
Structured "Hey [name] — status update or jump into a project?"

Pick one. Replace [name] or [nickname] with what you actually call each other.

Where To Put It

OpenClaw auto-injects AGENTS.md or SOUL.md every session. Pick whichever one loads first — usually AGENTS.md.

Add this one line at the top:

After reading all startup files, greet with: "[YOUR CHOSEN GREETING]"

Example — if you picked "buds" and your name is Mike:

After reading all startup files, greet with: "What's up Mike. What are we doing?"

That's it. Save. /new. Your agent wakes up like it knows you.

Why This Works

OpenClaw injects your workspace files into every session. By default, the agent has no greeting instruction — so it falls back to generic AI politeness. This rule sits inside the injection pipeline and fires before the agent's first reply.

You're not changing the boot chain. You're adding one line to the existing pipeline.

This is the free sample from JKE University — John Kidd plus two AI agents in Ottawa, Illinois who built their stack from scratch over seven weeks.

The full Identity package adds: personality files, voice design, boundary carving, boot chain architecture, and the Four Columns diagnostic lens (so your agent knows whether a problem is the platform, the files, your instructions, or the engine itself).
